Do you need to have school insurance to visit health services?


You do not need school insurance or any insurance to visit health services however, if any lab work or testing needs to be done you will need to provide insurance for billing.

 

Does health services provide sick notes for class?


Health services does not give notes for illness. It is recommended to speak with your teachers regarding missing class.

 

Will my parents know if I visit health services?


Health services is a confidential office, we will not disclose your medical information to parents without your consent. If you would like us to speak to a parent please contact health services for a written consent form for you to complete.

 

How do I get a copy of my school insurance card?


Please visit universityhealthplans.com scroll to Johnson & Wales University then on the home page there is a link to online insurance ID.

 

How can I get a copy of my vaccine record?


If you are still an active student you can obtain this from the Pyramed Student Patient Portal found on the PyraMed Student Health Portal. If you are no longer active you can email healthservices.pvd@jwu.edu and request a copy and we will email a consent form to fill out then send the information asked for.

 

Does health services refill medication?
