Notes

Reporting Versus Confidential Sources

The Title IX Coordinator, faculty and staff are required to notify JWU Campus Safety & Security about specific reports or disclosures of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence or stalking. JWU Counseling, Health & Wellness and JWU Bridge for Diversity, Equity & Social Justice staff and listed off-campus resources offer private or confidential services.

 

Time Frames to Get Medical Help

  • 3 days (up to 72 hours) from incident for emergency contraception and potential STI prevention
  • 5 days (up to 96 hours) from incident for evidence collection (only at hospital ER)
